DYNAMIC STRESS-STRAIN BEHAVIOR OF ENGINEERING MATERIALS.

Abstract

This report contains a brief review of a study of the dynamic mechanical behavior of various polymeric materials through dynamic experiments involving the application of sinusoidally varying loads. Various polymeric materials including glassy polymers, elastomers and filled rubber-like materials were studied. The report includes a review of a study involving experimental measurement of behavior of materials in various configurations with parallel development of theoretical approaches and numerical analysis procedures for the associated boundary value problems. It also includes a bibliography of publications. (Author, modified-PL)
