APPARATUS FOR MEASURING BOUNDARY-LAYER PARAMETERS OF AERODYNAMIC PROFILES,

Abstract

The invention involves an apparatus for measuring boundary layer parameters of aerodynamic profiles. The apparatus consists of a casing containing an adapter with a translocation mechanism, two reducers connecting the translocation mechanism to the transmission, a converter of pressure into an electrical signal, and an air exhaust connecting the adapter to the pressure converter. To increase the measurement accuracy, the casing is provided with two remote control electric motors for moving the adapter in a vertical and an angular direction. These electric motors are connected to the reducers by screw-actuated and screw-locking mechanisms for adjusting the placement of the adapter. (Author)
