A MAGNETIC FIELD IN A CHANNEL OF RHOMBOIDAL CROSS-SECTION IN THE PRESENCE OF A STEEL MAGNETIC CONDUCTOR,

Abstract

A boundary-value problem for a magnetic field in a channel of rhomboidal cross-section is considered. The excitation winding of arbitrary thickness encompasses the entire parameter of the channel and is located within the magnetic conductor. The winding has the form of a square at the boundary of the magnetic conductor. Graphs have been plotted of the distribution of the magnetic lines of force and of the vertical component of induction. A comparison has been made of magnetic systems of various configurations with and without a steel magnetic conductor.
