Abstract
To cool temperature chambers to minus 80C and below, stages of refrigerating machines are often used, but they are complex, cumbersome, costly, and of low reliability. Tests have been made to compare vapor refrigerating machines with gas models when operating to refrigerate low-temperature chambers. The unit consists of a helium gas refrigerating machine and a temperature chamber.
