REDUCTION OF QUASI-NONSTATIONARY RANDOM DATA USING A PEAK-AMPLITUDE FUNCTION.

Abstract

The purpose of the report is to establish the necessity for a special editing program designed to generate a peak amplitude function and to outline the development of this program. This editing program facilitates the reduction of short time periodic modulated random functions in the frequency domain. An application of the 'peak amplitude function' editing procedure is shown for the analysis of monorail rocket sled vibration data. (Author)
