MATHEMATICAL THEORY OF MOLECULAR CONTROL SYSTEMS.

Abstract

The theory of the feedback regulation of blood clotting, previously reported was extended to include positive action of thrombin on blood factors and platelets. The thermodynamics of protein interaction with surfaces was developed in a preliminary manner and provides a basis for taking into account the influence of both surface energy and charge on clotting. Other studies were published relating to the theory of bioelectrode phenomena and in vivo energy sources. (Author)
