POWER LEVELS THROUGH MILITARY TACTICAL TRUNKING SYSTEMS.

Abstract

The report presents power levels at various points throughout Military Tactical Trunking Systems. Both 2-wire and 4-wire systems are presented, and OdB and 3dB trunks explained. Calculations of power levels at the telephone receiver input are presented for three cases (a) maximum power, (b) minimum power, and (c) typical power, and compatibility between the 2-wire and 4-wire system is demonstrated.
