OPTIMAL PARAMETERS OF AN ARTIFICIAL DELAY LINE,

Abstract

The possibility of developing an artificial delay line, based on low-frequency filtering, is investigated. These lines are used in certain video tape recorders in order to correct quadrature errors. Basic factors which influence the choice of line parameters are examined and a technique is proposed for optimum line design which provides for high-quality video-recording correction. (Author)
