PERSYM: A GENERALIZED ENTITY - SIMULATION MODEL OF A MILITARY PERSONNEL SYSTEM,

Abstract

The document covers an operational entity-simulation system designed to permit observation and selective control of a military personnel system under a variety of policy alternatives. PERSYM is modularized to facilitate conversion to different military forces and the programming and inclusion of alternative policy logic modules. The system functions simulated are procurement, assignment and reassignment, promotion and loss. The elements of PERSYM and its supporting facilities are discussed in detail, along with use and preparation for use of the model. (Author)
