PROOF TEST OF WATER TRANSPARENCY METHOD OF DEPTH DETERMINATION.

Abstract

In searching for a means to determine beach hydrography by aerial reconnaissance, the British Army developed an aerial photographic process of depth determination known as the Water Transparency Method. The report presents results of a proof test of this method, employing American equipment and personnel. (Author)
