TROPICAL PROPAGATION RESEARCH. PULSE TRANSMISSION AT VHF IN A TROPICAL RAIN FOREST

Abstract

The report presents results from experimental and analytical investigation of the propagation of radio waves in tropical jungle environments. The experimental work was done in a tropical rain forest test area in Southern Thailand. The objective of this program is to obtain and analyze information that is generally applicable to improving the development, design, and operation of short range communications systems for tropical jungle environments.
