ELECTROSTATIC FOCUSING OF HOLLOW SPIRALING ELECTRON BEAMS.

Abstract

The theory of electrostatic focusing of hollow spiraling electron beams is reviewed. The experiment on an end fire injection scheme is described and experimental measurements are presented. The trajectory calculation program is described and a typical computer run is presented. (Author)
