CLINICAL SOCIAL WORKERS IN THE UNITED STATES ARMY: THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN ADMINISTRATIVE AND PROFESSIONAL POLICY AGREEMENT AND BUREAUCRATIC ATTITUDES.

Abstract

Dissatisfaction and a potential for conflict will result when the professional is faced with maintaining his role as a professional while also having to function as a bureaucratic administrator. Several studies reviewed tended to confirm the above notion. The dissertation attempts to shed some light on this problem by studying the group of professional male clinical social workers in the Army. (Author)
