IMPEDANCE PER UNIT LENGTH BETWEEN TWO LONG HORIZONTAL WIRES ABOVE THE EARTH'S SURFACE,

Abstract

The external impedance per unit length of a long, elevated, horizontal line source and the mutual impedance per unit length between two parallel, elevated line sources are derived for the quasi-static range by employing image theory. The image theory and previously derived analytical results are in very good agreement throughout the quasi-static range. (Author)
