THE M.I.T. VIBRATING STRING SURFACE SHIP GRAVIMETER,
Abstract
A surface ship gravimeter is described. The gravimeter is designed for low cost production, yet has been proven accurate to better than 1 mgal at sea. This report contains the information required by a potential system manufacturer or by a competent researcher to duplicate the original gravimeter. (Author)
