A MODIFIED 125I PLASMA VOLUME PROCEDURE.

Abstract

Reducing the radiation exposure dose from radioisotope procedures is a constant requirement of the radioisotope laboratory. A modified RISA-125I plasma volume procedure has now been developed which, without sacrificing accuracy, reduces the exposure dose by a factor of 10. Curves are also presented which permit selection of a minimum plasma sample or a minimum dose of RISA-125I, with whort or long counting times. (Author)
