RESEARCH IN GRAVITATIONAL THEORY.

Abstract

The report discusses work in four areas of research connected with general relativity: scattering of radiation and the existence of wave tails; conservation laws, with the major emphasis being on the conserved quantities discovered by Newman and Penrose; exact solutions of the Einstein and Einstein-scalar equations, with particular attention being paid to an analysis of event horizons in these solutions; and new approach to the study of equations of motion.
