TYPE GF-020 PRIMER.

Abstract

The Standard prescribes technical standards for the performance of GF-020 primer (a suspension of pigments (iron oxide and zinc oxide) and filler (talc) in alkyl or penta-alkyl lacquer with additives), which is used to prime metal and wood surfaces before the application of enamels. Test procedures are outlined for determining product compliance with manufacturing, shipping, and labeling requirements. (Author)
