A METHOD OF CURING SILICON-CONTAINING EPOXY POLYMERS,

Abstract

The invention involves a method of curing silicon-containing epoxy polymers to yield coatings with improved heat and moisture resistance. The method involves the use of the reactions product of tetrabutoxytitanium with methylphenoxyphosphonic chloride (methylphosphonochloridic acid, phenylester) or phosphorus oxychloride (phosphoryl chloride) as the curing agent.
