ONE HYDRODYNAMIC MODEL OF A SOLID LUBRICANT,

Abstract

Noting the inapplicability of conventional hydrodynamic equations to the description of solid (for example, graphite) lubricants because of the anisotropy of their properties in various directions, the authors have proposed a method for the description of a black-lead lubricant in the lubricant layer of a cylindrical bearing; property anisotropy is considered by means of a viscosity vector using Stokes' approximation.
