HEAT AND MASS TRANSFER IN NON-NEWTONIAN FLUIDS (COLLECTION OF ARTICLES),

Abstract

Reports presented at the symposium can be divided into several groups: Theoretical and experimental investigations of hydrodynamics and convective heat and mass transfer of purely viscous non-Newtonian liquids ('exponential' or 'structurally-viscous') during laminar flow in channels and boundary layer; Theoretical and experimental investigations of flow stability of purely viscous non-Newtonian liquids in channels; Methods and equipment for measurement of thermophysical, rheodynamic, and structural characteristics of rheological systems; Applied questions pertaining to investigations of different concrete systems, varnish and paint, structural materials, massecuites, furan resins, and others.
