ONE METHOD OF REPRESENTATING ALGORITHMS OF MACHINE TRANSLATION,

Abstract

An intermediate algorithmic language was developed for purposes of machine translation. The present article tabulates operators in which the operand proper is used in lieu of the operand address. These operators are dealt with: output, transfer, addition, transcription, comparison, access, presence of a subchain, etc. Two types of operations are singled out: (a) those intended for transformation of information and (b) those securing the required sequence of operation of the operators and determining certain parameters. A table-look-up problem is also considered.
