ON THERMODYNAMICS, RATE OF WORK AND ENERGY,

Abstract

After some preliminary remarks concerning the thermodynamical theory of single phase continua, the balance of energy concept is examined and the mathematical statement of this principle is written in its most primitive form. The consequences of the generalization achieved in special cases are studied; application to materials with memory is considered. (Author)
