THE COUNTED POISSON PROCESS (A GENERALIZATION OF THE FILTERED POISSON PROCESS) AND ITS APPLICATIONS.

Abstract

A class of stochastic processes, herein called 'Counted Poisson' processes is investigated. The structure of a Counted Poisson process is determined and its relationship to the Filtered Poisson process noted. Applications in the theory of queues and elsewhere are indicated. (Author)
