A DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM TO IMPROVE THE BROADBANDING OF HIGH POWER AMPLIFIER KLYSTRONS.

Abstract

The purpose of this program is to study and develop two improved broadband high power klystron amplifiers in accordance with Amendment No. 1 to Technical Guidelines SCA-2047, dated October 4, 1966; one designed to operate at 16 kW with 150 MHz instantaneous bandwidth and one designed to work at 8 kW with 100 MHz bandwidth.
