PROGRESS REPORT, JUNE 15 - DECEMBER 15, 1969,

Abstract

Brief summary reports are given in two areas of research. Work was initiated to calculate the vibrational excitation cross sections for the collision system: CO + O yields CO* + O - kinetic energy. The mechanisms responsible for the generation of high altitude infrared emission from rocket plumes were studied. (Author)
