MINIATURE CRYOGENIC REFRIGERATORS.
Abstract
The report gives data in tabular and graphical form on miniature cryogenic refrigerators available commercially in the USA and Europe. It also gives data on prototype miniature refrigerators under development in commercial laboratories. A graphical comparison is given of the refrigerators listed by presenting efficiencies, weight/refrigeration ratios and volume/refrigeration ratios. Brief discussions are given also of passive cooling techniques and of possible developments envisioned for the future. (Author)
