DIFFUSION WELDING IN A VACUUM,
Abstract
A method devised by the author for vacuum diffusion welding of various metals, alloys, and nonmetallic materials in different combinations is covered. Results of research conducted during development of the method are generalized. A discussion of the principles of diffusion is followed by detailed descriptions of design, construction, operation, and control of a number of welding units in use in the USSR. (Author)
