EVIDENCE FOR A SECOND ENERGY GAP IN SUPERCONDUCTING NIOBIUM.

Abstract

Tunneling measurements on superconducting Nb single crystals indicate the existence of a second energy gap for superconductivity, about 1/10 the width of the larger one, and independent of temperature between 0.48 and 4.2 degrees K. (Author)
