ADVANCED METALLIC MATERIALS FOR AEROSPACE APPLICATIONS.

Abstract

The low weight and high strength of composites, titanium alloys, superalloys, refractory metals, and beryllium make them useful for construction of aerospace vehicles. Present and projected uses of these materials for aerospace structures are discussed. (Author)
