INTERPRETATION OF THE ORIGIN OF MICROPULSATIONS USING THE RESPONSE METHOD.

Abstract

The research work carried out under this grant is summarized under two sections. The first deals with the interpretation of geomagnetic micropulsations using the response method. The approach explains the characteristics of the magnetosphere and the input-output relationship between the solar wind and the observed micropulsations. The second section concerns the phase relation between three orthogonal components of micropulsations. (Author)
