DEVELOPMENT OF INFRARED SPECTROMETERS IN RECENT YEARS,

Abstract

The paper outlines the technical development of infrared spectrometers, with emphasis on the characteristics and useful values of modern wide-angle prisms, simplified prisms, light filter-grating instruments, and prism-grating instruments. In addition, the paper briefly discusses the operational characteristics of infrared spectrometers, the spectrometric pattern spacing of grating instruments, the order of spectrums, the change of such order, and the scanning of linear wave lengths. Furthermore, the paper also explains the trend of development in infrared spectrometers. (Author)
