ALGORITHMIC SELECTION OF THE OPTIMUM STRUCTURE OF A DIGITAL CONTROL COMPUTER,

Abstract

Various structures of general-purpose digital control computers are analyzed. Analysis of these structures has indicated that the selection of optimal structure may be reduced to the problem in mathematical programming where the equipment cost function is minimized with constraints specified by technical requirements. On algorithm for the selection of the optimum structure of an electronic digital computer is proposed. (Author)
