MEASUREMENT OF PULSE CROSSTALK ON SYMMETRIC TYPE CABLE,

Abstract

Observation of distribution of crosstalk coupling using equalizers was discussed theoretically and on the basis of experiments. Because of thermal noise from equalizers, the equalizing range cannot be enlarged, as a result of which limits are imposed on resolution in observation. Nevertheless, it was demonstrated that the method is an effective means of quality control aimed at locating large crosstalk couplings in a long cable. (Author)
