THE HANDLING OF AUTOMATIC DATA IN GAS CHROMATOGRAPHY,

Abstract

The increasing demands for accuracy and reliability of analytical data as well as the necessity, brought about by increasing wage costs, of rationalizing laboratory work, led to the idea of using computer-controlled data-handling equipment in gas chromatography. The tasks involved the basic construction and principle of operation, the advantages and disadvantages of data-handling equipment for gas chromatography using a computer as central unit are described.
