PERFORMANCE OF BALLOON REINFORCEMENT TAPES UNDER STATIC AND DYNAMIC LOADING,
Abstract
Comparing popular Fortisan 36 with glass and nylon reinforcement was converted into effort to obtain data on a successor. Tapes incorporating Dacron, Fortrell, and Fortisan (regular) were screened and the latter (most suitable) compared with Fortisan 36. Concentration was on 2,4, and 10-in. specimens elongated 5 percent per minute at -60C and room temperatures. (Author)
