ANNUAL REPORT NUMBER 2, 1 JULY 1968-30 JUNE 1969,

Abstract

The progress of the Yerkes Observatory astrometric program is described. The principal result is an increase in accuracy of trigonometric parallaxes of a factor of three. A photoelectric image bisector developed at Yerkes Observatory is described, which has made part of the increase in accuracy possible. Membership determination for several open clusters, presenitization of photographic plates and photometry with the Palomar Observatory Sky Survey prints are also discussed. (Author)
