INHIBITING EFFECT OF 6-AZAURIDINE UPON REPRODUCTION OF HERPES SIMPLEX VIRUS

Abstract

It was revealed that 6-azauridine suppresses the reproduction of herpes simplex virus and partially inhibits the development of a cytopathogenic effect under the influence of virus infection. Possible mechanisms of the antivirus action of 6-azauridine are discussed.
