NUMERICAL INTEGRATION OF THE NAVIER-STOKES EQUATIONS IN TWO DIMENSIONS.

Abstract

A numerical method is described for solving the two-dimensional Navier-Stokes equations. Results for steady flow past a circular cylinder for Reynolds numbers up to 100, and past an elliptic cylinder for Reynolds numbers up to 200, are given. (Author)
