CONSTITUTIVE EQUATIONS FOR THE FLOW OF A SIMPLE FLUID THROUGH A POROUS BODY UNDERGOING FINITE DEFORMATIONS.

Abstract

The constitutive equations for the flow of fluids through a porous body undergoing large elastic deformations are postulated. Using an entropy inequality proposed earlier by the author, restrictions on the postulated constitutive equations are found. In addition restrictions due to frame indifference and material symmetrics are found. (Author)
