Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the value of improving oceanographic data prediction by satellite measurements. The effort was to be carried out in seven tasks, but the specified level of effort was expended before the tasks could be completed, and the study terminated. The tasks and results obtained are summarized, and brief descriptions given of two of the computer simulation models used. (Author)
