Abstract

An evaluation of experimental data derived from manned flights and flights with animals in various types of space vehicles in the earth's atmosphere. Particular attention has been devoted to evaluation of tests conducted during the manned Soviet 'Vostok' and 'Voskhod' flights, and of the results obtained on human performance under conditions of weightlessness.
