OPTICAL INSTRUMENT FOR MEASUREMENT OF ABSOLUTE ATMOSPHERIC HUMIDITY,

Abstract

A description is given of a device for measuring absolute atmospheric humidity. The device was developed at the State Optical Institute. The graduation of the device was made in a thermobarometric chamber at above-zero temperatures. The mechanism of the device is based on the comparison of reduction of IR radiation by water vapor in a 2.58-Mu m reform in a two-channel autocompensating optical system with various bases. (Author)
