CONTROL OF MOTION DURING ATMOSPHERE REENTRY,

Abstract

Development of an algorithm to control spaceship descent into the atmosphere at parabolic velocity is presented. A multi-stage adaptive algorithm for range control on a descent section is developed. Algorithm operation simulation on a digital computer is cited and it is demonstrated that the algorithm ensures adequately accurate control of the regulation process under conditions of significant variations in atmospheric parameter distributions.
