REAL TIME LASER PROPAGATION DATA ANALYSIS TECHNIQUE,

Abstract

A new technique for real time analysis and display of pulsed laser propagation data is described and initial test results of the method are presented. The technique centers around the use of a dual parameter, pulse-height analyzer to record and display data in a rectangular X-Y field. The display gives a real time visual indication of the quality of the test results. It is shown that the emission from long pulse ruby and erbium lasers can be analyzed and displayed in the proposed manner. (Author)
