MALAYSIAN FOREIGN POLICY,

Abstract

The study seeks to demonstrate that there is coherence and continuity in Malaysia's foreign policy over time and that the general configurations of this policy are clearly related to the domestic and international environment in which Malaysia as a sovereign nation must operate. Malaysia may have few rationally planned and consciously articulated foreign policy positions, but her international behavior has been highly consistent in the past and can probably be predicted with fair accuracy for the future.
