SHORE EROSION BY STORM WAVES,

Abstract

In connection with its mission of developing hurricane protection plans for the Atlantic and Gulf shores of the United States, the Corps of Engineers, Department of the Army, has need to know the magnitude of shore erosion which can be expected from hurricane wave attack. To partially fill this need, the information on storm wave erosion available in the files of the Beach Erosion Board is summarized in this report.
