THE ADAPTATION OF NAVAL ENLISTEES SCORING IN MENTAL GROUP IV ON THE ARMED FORCES QUALIFICATION TEST

Abstract

The report presents findings from a study designed to evaluate differences in the adaptations of 'average' and mentally marginal sailors during four years of military service. Sailors with AFQT scores of 50 are compared with catgeory 4 enlistees on military performance measures in which cognitive abilities play an essential role.
