THEORETICAL ANALYSIS OF CONSECUTIVE ION-MOLECULE REACTIONS. II. THE MECHANISMS IN A TANDEM MASS SPECTROMETER OF LONGITUDINAL TYPE,

Abstract

The elementary theory of the consecutive ion-molecule reaction mechanisms in the gas phase at low ion velocities, given in a preceding paper, is applied to tandem mass spectrometers of longitudinal type and the intensities, I(n), of the ions of different order, n, are calculated. (Author)
