A STUDY OF THE MECHANISMS OF WHISTLER PROPAGATION AND VLF EMISSION GENERATION.

Abstract

The report provides a brief insight into the problems of whistler generation and propagation. Research on propagation theory was directed towards improved understanding of wave propagation in the magnetosphere. New facts have been discovered and new tools developed that can be applied to the interpretation of VLF phenomena and propagation characteristics. (Author)
